Marcus Fauser's paintings constitute an associative space of imagery opening itself to the viewers' continued involvement. Confronting them with their own reflection it acts as a black mirror that transports past and hidden experiences into presence. Micro and macro cosmos fuse, fantasy arises, the unconscious moulds and rejects images until, finally, one of the many manifests itself and contributes to "Ansichten in Schwarz" (Views in black).

The painter, sculptor and video artist Marcus Fauser studied, among others, with Werner Pokorny at the Stuttgart Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste. Since 2006 he lives and works in Berlin. He took part in numerous national and international exhibitions and video performances.

The artist will be present at the opening.
