In the early 20th Century begins the run on the world's highest and most dangerous summits, often enough with fatal outcome for those taking part. In his new work, London-based photographer Jochen Klein has portrayed 13 of the deadliest mountains - without even having set foot out of the studio. Yet his small-scale series "Deadly Mountains" is far more than a tribute to the heroic traditions of early mountaineering.
