The initial point of Axel Braun‘s research practice is the anthropocene, the influence of human activities on our planet. In his mixed media installation, the artist demonstrates with a collection of case studies how contemporary landscapes transform into involuntary monuments of social processes through constant expansion of the technosphere. The exhibition is curated by Anna Nowak and will be displayed as a SATELLITE-SHOW of the Triennial of Photography Hamburg 2018.
